Spin UP! Exploring Magnetism and Spins – Joint Summer School 2025

The focus of this Summer School will be on Advanced Spin Phenomena and Magnetic Materials for Energy Conversion, with workshops and symposia covering topics such as Spin Dynamics in Complex Systems, Hysteresis Design in Magnetic Materials, and Innovative Magnetic Materials for Energy Applications, among others. This summer school offers a unique opportunity for young scientists to engage with cutting-edge research in advanced spin phenomena and magnetic materials for energy conversion, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in this critical field.

Please, note that this summer school is primarily for PhD students, part of TRR 270 – HoMMage and TRR 173 – Spin+X. Postdocs will only be considered if seats remain available after all eligible PhD student applications have been reviewed. All the PhD students under TRR 270 – HoMMage and TRR 173 – Spin+X are strongly encouraged to register for the summer school especially organized for them.

Registration opens: Wednesday, 19^th February 2025

Registration ends: Friday, 5:00 pm, 7^th March 2025

The summer school language will be English. The CRC’s HoMMage and SPIN+X will bear full-board accommodation costs for all participants.
